CREATION OF BIRDS

Creation of Birds is an app developed during the pandemic, which explores the relationship between bodies, devices and ecologies. In this work, the viewer has to look for a bird in the sky through their smartphone device. On finding a bird, a poem is generated by crawling three pre-selected texts which articulate impossible bodies.


The application investigates the relationship between the user and their built environment, as the app requires them to step out and find a bird in the sky. The central question in the work is how can the device be subverted to take the human to the non-human.
